Taiwanese mobile phone maker HTC Corporation has been long rumored to plan the release of a large Android-based smartphone called HTC One max and some more info on the matter is now available.

The handset is expected to make an official appearance on October 17 with a 5.9-inch full HD screen, and with HTC’s Sense 5.5 user interface loaded on top. It might become available on October 21.

According to an eprice report on the device, however, HTC might also pack it with an accessory battery cover that would have 1200 mAh of power of its own, in addition to the 3300 mAh battery included inside the device.

This would certainly give the smartphone a boost in usage time which, given its large screen, will be welcomed among users.

The specs list of the device is also said to include 16GB of internal memory, though a 32GB version of the handset could also arrive on shelves. The phone will also feature HTC BoomSound, it seems.
