Owners of HTC One X smartphones on the network of wireless carrier AT&T will be happy to know that the Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean operating system update will be available for them shortly.

The update was already expected to land on handsets sooner rather than later, and it seems that things have been finally set right for the rollout.

According to a recent tweet from Mohammed Versi, HTC’s executive director, product management, the update has already received the necessary approvals and will begin showing on handsets starting tomorrow, January 29.

In addition to all the enhancements and new features that Android 4.2.2 comes with, the new firmware release will also provide users with the benefits of the Sense 5 user interface, said tweet unveils.

About a week ago, AT&T and HTC started to deliver the same update to the HTC One X+, as Android Central unveils.
