14 DAY TRIAL // A new software update is currently being deployed on HTC One X smartphones in Europe, namely version 4.18.401.3.
Apparently, this is only a maintenance update for the smartphone, which means that users should not expect to find too many new features packed inside it.
Even so, there should be some enhancements and bug fixes delivered to HTC One X as part of the update, although no specific details on the matter have been provided.
The new release is being pushed to users over-the-air, but they can also download it from the web, courtesy of a link provided by Twitter user LlabTooFeR.
The file is only 13MB large, and comes from HTC’s own servers, which means that it should be safe to download and install. Of course, users can also choose to wait for the update to be delivered to them OTA, though there’s no telling on how long that might take.
