Taiwanese mobile phone maker HTC Corporation is reportedly gearing up for the launch of the HTC One in more markets around the world, including Japan, where the device has just emerged as HTC One J.

Featuring model number HTL22, the new handset is expected to arrive on shelves at KDDI in Japan, with a design similar to that of the international flavor, it seems.

The specs list of the smartphone should remain unchanged as well, which means that users will enjoy a 4.7-inch LCD 3 display on it, along with the performance capabilities of its Snapdragon 600 APQ8064T CPU.

The handset also packs 2GB of RAM, 32GB of internal memory, a 4MP UltraPixel photo snapper on the back, 2MP front camera for making video calls, and Google’s Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean OS, with HTC’s own Sense 5 UI on top.
