Last week, Taiwanese mobile phone maker HTC Corporation officially announced the upcoming availability of a smaller flavor of its HTC One M8 smartphone, called HTC One mini 2, and the phone is now said to be coming to Verizon Wireless in the United States as well.

However, it appears that the carrier will release the phone as the HTC One Remix, at least this is what a tweet coming from infamous tipster @evleaks claims.

Furthermore, the leaker also brought online a photo with the device, so that users could make a better idea of what Verizon is preparing for them.

Unfortunately, the leaked photo only shows a part of the phone, which is also inside a case, and there are still a great deal of details on the handset’s design that need to be revealed.

However, we can see there the stereo front-facing BoomSound speakers, along with the HTC logo beneath the screen, and on-screen navigation buttons, proving that the phone will be mostly similar with the original HTC One mini 2.

Although the hardware specs of this device haven’t been unveiled as of now, we should see it released with the same capabilities as the One mini 2, so stay tuned for more on the matter.
