Canadian wireless carrier Bell will soon end the life of the HTC One smartphone on its network, for no apparent reason for the time being.

According to a recent article on MobileSyrup, the wireless carrier has decided to put HTC One on its End of Life list alongside the Blue 16GB Samsung Galaxy S III LTE and the White Sony Xperia Z1.

Chances are that the operator is gearing up for the launch of new handsets on its network, and that it is cleaning inventory.

HTC, for example, has been long rumored to plan the launch of a successor for the HTC One, and the device could make it to Bell’s network soon after the official unveiling. Rumor has it that the phone will be announced sometime in late March at an event in New York.
