Owners of HTC One Max devices in Russia should start seeing a new software update available for their devices, one that provides them with a taste of the Sense 6.0 user interface, the latest reports on the matter suggest.

According to a recent post on htcfamily.ru, the update is available for this smartphone as a 535.71MB download and will bump the software version on the device up to 3.12.401.3.

Those of you who own the phone are advised to grab the new firmware refresh over a Wi-Fi connection, so as to ensure that no data overcharges occur.

Furthermore, the news site notes that users should perform a factory reset after installing the new software, so that no issues emerge after applying it.

The Sense 6.0 UI version was made official along the HTC One M8 back in March, and it already started to arrive on HTC One M7 devices several weeks ago. Moreover, some HTC One Max devices also received it, with those in Russia getting a taste of it this week.

You should receive a notification on the availability of the update, but don’t despair if it doesn’t arrive today, as the rollout is most probably a staged one and might need some time before reaching all devices out there.
