After the grand unveiling of the One M9 at MWC 2015 in Barcelona, HTC is expected to host a another media event during which we hope to see the One M9+ handset we have been hearing of in the past few months.

In the last few weeks, the HTC One M9+ has leaked in several images showing parts of the device, but now serial leakster @upleaks has posted a series of new photos that give us the clearest image of the handset to date.

The back of the phone resembles the HTC One M8 more than the One M9, complete with a Duo camera setup. The 5.2-inch display will arrive with a 1440 x 2560 resolution, which is good news for those who were disappointed by the One M8 sporting just 1080p.

The power house of the device is an octa-core MediaTek MT6795 CPU fitted with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage.

The images show the button on the bottom front of the device splitting the BoomSound speaker in half. It also appears that the dedicated fingerprint scanner is of the swipe variety.

HTC will unveil the handset in Beijing on April 8, which most likely means that the phone will be marketed on the Asian market.
