HTC One (M8), the latest flagship Android-based smartphone from the Taiwanese mobile phone maker, has already been confirmed to arrive on shelves in India before the end of this month, but no specific info on when that might happen has been provided until this week.

Previously, HTC said that the phone would be released in the country in late April, maybe in the third week of the month, but it appears that this will actually happen a bit later.

According to a tweet from HTC, the smartphone is actually set to be launched in the country on April 25.

No specific info on the phone’s pricing in the country has been provided as of now, but HTC is expected to make such details official in the next few weeks.

The specs list of HTC One (M8) should remain unchanged from what was unveiled for it last week, which means that users will enjoy a 5-inch full HD screen on this phone, along with its 2.3GHz quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor.

Moreover, the handset features 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal memory, and a microSD memory card slot. It also features dual UltraPixel cameras on the back, along with a 5MP front camera for making video calls.

HTC One (M8) runs under the Adroid 4.4.2 KitKat operating system, with HTC’s own Sense 6.0 user interface loaded on top.
