Soon, Taiwanese mobile phone maker HTC is expected to make official a successor for its last year flagship smartphone HTC One, one that is supposedly codenamed M8, and some more info on the device is now available.

XDA TV producer and moderator Shen Ye posted on Twitter info on the matter, suggesting that the smartphone will be released in black, red, blue, and grey versions. However, it appears that these color options will be different from those available for last year’s HTC One.

No official confirmation on this has been provided as of now, yet chances are that all will be unveiled in the not too distant future. As PhoneArena notes, HTC is expected to launch the handset either in February or in March.

The one thing that remains to be seen is what specific name the smartphone will have, as it has been previously rumored to arrive either as HTC One+ or HTC One 2.
