Last week, HTC started to push the Sense 6.0 update to its HTC One (M7) smartphones out there, and the update has started to arrive on smartphones in Europe today.

The new software release arrives on handsets as ROM version is 5.11.401.10 and is available for download as a 676.49 МВ file, a recent tweet coming from @LlabTooFeR unveils.

Furthermore, it notes that the European M7_UL flavor of the device, which is the LTE model, is receiving the update as firmware number 5.11.401.10 (678.87 MB), while the M7_U variant, which is the UMTS model, will see it as version 5.11.401.110 (676.49 MB).

Apparently, the update is currently available only for unlocked devices on the old continent, though it should not be too long before it arrives on all handsets out there.

Considering the fact that the new firmware release is quite large, users should consider downloading and installing it over a Wi-Fi network, for a faster, better experience.

The Sense 6.0 UI will provide HTC One (M7) users with enhancements such as Extreme Power Saving mode, updated Camera and Gallery apps, and an improved Blinkfeed.

Unfortunately, not all of the features and capabilities that were included in the UI on HTC One M8 will make it to last year’s flagship smartphone.

The new software release is expected to roll out in phases, which means that some of you might receive it at a later date, so be patient. Stay tuned for additional details on the matter.
