14 DAY TRIAL // Today is a big day for Taiwanese mobile phone maker HTC, as it is set to unveil to the world its next Android-based flagship device, namely the HTC One.
Previously spotted online as the HTC M7, the handset was recently said to feature the market name of HTC One, and to be able to bring the company back in the smartphone game.
The smartphone is said to sport a 4.7-inch full HD display, along with a quad-core 1.7 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor inside, 2 GB of RAM, and 32GB of internal memory.
Furthermore, the new device is expected to sport a 2,300 mAh battery inside, Google’s Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system loaded on top, and a new flavor of the company’s own Sense UI.
Furthermore, the smartphone is said to include a brand new camera sensor, along with enhanced audio capabilities and the like. Although nothing has been officially announced, HTC has been teasing these features online for the past few weeks, in an attempt to increase the hype on its new device.

Update 1: It seems that HTC is delaying the start of the event, so we'll have to wait a few more minutes before details start pouring in. All was supposed to start in New York at 10 AM Eastern Time.

The new HTC Sense UI brings a cleaner look, intros the BlinkFeed experience that brings social updates, news, information and more to users’ screen.
“BlinkFeed reimagines the phone by turning your homescreen into a live feed. We built it with snacking in mind,” HTC's Design Director Jonah Becker says.
Update 4: The handset can deliver HDR sound recording, great audio experience via BoomSound, with the two front speakers.
HTC One sports a HTC UltraPixel Camera with a 4-megapixel BSI sensor on the back, along with a 2.1MP front camera for video calling.
Specs list also includes: 4.7", Full HD (1080p) screen, a zero-gap aluminum unibody, quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM, and the like.
HTC One will arrive on shelves in over 80 regions and countries starting with March, on the networks of 185 wireless carriers.
Update 5: HTC explains HTC Zoe for One's camera, which offers increased flexibility to users, with three-second snippets. The phone also sports the option to easily share photos or videos.
With Zoe, users will have motion in the gallery on their devices, the company claims.
Users will also be able to easily switch between front and back cameras, HTC notes.
HTC One will arrive on shelves in 32GB and 64GB capacities, and will be launched through AT&T, Sprint, and T-Mobile in the United States.
