HTC One (E8), the cheap version of the HTC One (M8), is now available for purchase in the United States via online retailer Expansys.com, with a price tag of $549 (€409) attached to it, contract-free.

The mobile phone was launched earlier this year with a polycarbonate body, but sports about the same hardware specs and capabilities as the flagship device, which is made out of aluminum.

Those of you interested in the purchase of HTC One (E8) today will find it listed at the aforementioned retailer in Silver, Blue, Grey, and Red color versions.

For those out of the loop, we should note that the handset arrives on shelves with a 5-inch Full HD display, as well as with a 2.5 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor.

Moreover, the mobile phone includes 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal memory, and a microSD memory card slot with support for up to 128GB of additional storage space.

On the back, the new device sports a 13-megapixel camera with support for full HD video recording, paired with a 5MP front camera for making video calls while on the go.

HTC One (E8) is powered by a 2600mAh battery and runs under the Android 4.4 KitKat operating system, with HTC’s own Sense UI loaded on top.
