Taiwanese mobile phone maker HTC Corporation has started to push the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean operating system to its HTC One users out there not long ago, but it seems that it won’t do the same for the dual-SIM flavor of the device.

No official confirmation on the matter has been provided as of now, but a recent tweet coming from LlabTooFeR, a well-known tipster, unveils that HTC might choose to update this phone directly to Android 4.4 KitKat.

“HTC One Dual SIM might skip 4.3 and get directly 4.4 update,” said tipster noted in a recent post on Twitter.

The dual-SIM version of HTC One arrives on shelves with a microSD memory card slot packed inside, as well as with a removable cover. It was launched in China earlier this year, and it should arrive on shelves in the UK in the near future.
