A new Android handset coming from HTC is now official, namely the Desire 200, an entry-level smartphone that leaked only a while ago, and which was detailed only yesterday.

The handset has got a dedicated page published on HTC’s website, where its hardware specs are also detailed, although specific info on its availability hasn’t been provided as of now.

HTC Desire 200 features a 3.5-inch HVGA screen, a 1GHz Snapdragon S1 processor, 512MB of RAM, 4GB of internal memory, microSD memory card slot, and a 5-megapixel photo snapper on the back.

It also includes Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/AGPS, Beats Audio, 3.5 mm stereo audio jack, and HTC Sense loaded on top of Google’s Android platform.

“The HTC Desire 200 comes with our highest quality in-ear headset and Beats Audio for immersive music. An intuitive camera makes it easy to take and share photos, and the HTC Data Manager lets you keep up with your data usage so you stay within your budget,” HTC notes.
