HTC’s upcoming flagship smartphone has yet to receive a marketing name. The device is referred to as HTC M8 or The All New One, but the Taiwanese company has yet to confirm how the handset will be known by its fans.

Just when we thought the flagship smartphone will be launched as The All New One, as weird as it may sound, here comes another rumor that suggests HTC changed its mind.

According to @NextLeaks, the HTC M8 (The All New One) will be released on the market as “One Up.” No additional details have been disclosed and no source has been named yet, so file this under unverified rumors category until more info emerges online.

The HTC M8, or whatever it will be called in the end, has been confirmed for unveil on March 25. The smartphone is likely to go on sale the next month, which will put HTC under a lot of pressure from its competitors.

Samsung and Sony will also launch their flagship smartphones, the Galaxy S5 and Xperia Z2, around the same timeframe, so HTC’s announcement from March 25 will probably be of major importance for the Taiwanese company. Stay tuned for more updates on the matter.
