The smartphone should become official in early June

HTC M8 Ace, supposedly the cheaper version of the HTC One M8, is now rumored to arrive on the market with a 4.7-inch touchscreen display, and not with the 5-inch panel available on the current flagship model, a new report on it suggests.

The phone has made it to the headlines quite a few times before and is currently expected to become official in early June, yet no official confirmation on it has been provided as of now.

However, HTC has recently suggested that it will launch a new, curvier smartphone in the not-too-distant future, and chances are that it has been referring to this HTC M8 Ace.

The phone is said to be cheaper than the HTC One M8 and is also expected to sport a plastic body, unlike the One M8, which is made out of aluminum.

As it turns out, the M8 Ace could actually prove a completely new smartphone from HTC, though it should still pack some of the capabilities that the larger counterpart has landed on shelves with.

The front of the device, however, looks similar to that of HTC One M8, images with the device available courtesy of TENAA show. The back, however, should be curved both vertically and horizontally, a recently leaked image has unveiled.
