We reported about a week ago that HTC M7 would be the first smartphone manufactured by the Taiwanese company to be released in the US via all four major carriers: T-Mobile, Verizon, AT&T and Sprint.

However, it appears that Verizon’s launch has been delayed for reasons that have yet to be made official.

The guys over at HTCSource claim sources close to the matter have just informed them that the launch of the Verizon HTC M7 will be delayed.

The cited source did not offer any additional details on the reasons that Verizon decided to postpone the M7. However, as we mentioned in our previous article, the M7 and DROID DNA are almost similar when it comes to specs.

This might be a valid reason for Verizon to delay the launch of HTC M7 in order to prolong DROID DNA sales for a little longer. Stay tuned for more updates on the matter.
