HTC EVO 4G LTE users will be pleased to hear their favorite smartphone has been included on the list of Android 4.3 upgradeable devices.

According to HTC America head Jason Mackenzie, the EVO 4G LTE will receive the long-awaited Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update by the end of the year. The new firmware will also contain the HTC Sense 5 user interface.

Unfortunately, there's no telling when exactly HTC will start rolling out the promised update, but there's still around 3 months until the end of 2013.

The EVO 4G LTE was released at Sprint more than a year ago with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system out of the box, but it got an Android 4.1 update since then.

The jump to Android 4.3 Jelly Bean would be a major improvement for HTC EVO 4G LTE owners, so stay tuned for more updates on the matter.
