14 DAY TRIAL // Most of the times, tech device makers turn to “subtle” trolling of the competition in order to highlight the qualities of their own products.
Earlier today, we provided you with one such example. LG poked a bit of fun at Samsung’s latest Galaxy Note S6 Edge over the whole #bendgate affair. The company also took a moment to say that “Some curves just make sense,” obviously referring to its own LG G Flex 2.
And then there’s HTC. The phone maker has just launched the One M9 smartphone and it has been promoting it with the help of Robert Downey Jr. and a host of really bizarre ads.
Now, HTC partners up with another star, in the person of Robison Cano, second baseman hitter for the Seattle Mariners. To what end, you might be asking yourself?
It seems that the tech company has hired the sportsman to swing the bat at the competition, literally. In the video we embedded for you bellow, you’ll see Cano hit and destroy some of the best smartphones available on the market: the Samsung Galaxy Note 4, iPhone 6 or LG G3.
Be warned, this video is not for the faint of heart, especially if you have used these phones. However, it proves to be an interesting watch.
