HTC India has just confirmed that the Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread with Sense 3.0 user interface is now available for download in India.

The Taiwanese handset manufacturer released the Gingerbread update in Europe last month and stated that it would be gradually rolled out in other regions as well.

One month after HTC’s announcement the update is finally available in India. According to HTC India, Android 2.3.5 is now up for grabbing OTA (over the air), so users might want to check for the update manually by going to Settings / About phone / Software update.

The folks at AndroidOS confirm that the 230MB update brings several enhancements and performance improvements, as well as new features and bug fixes. The new Sense 3.0 user interface is also included with the update.
