Taiwanese mobile phone maker HTC is reportedly getting ready for the launch of new Android-based smartphones, with HTC Desire 200 being one of them, as a recent entry in the Taiwanese NCC certification database shows.

The smartphone was spotted there with model number 102e attached to it, and should hit the market with specs similar to those of HTC G2 for T-Mobile (a version of the Desire Z), mobileaks.nl reports.

This means that the mobile phone might hit the market soon with a 3.5-inch (480 x 320 pixels) screen on the front, a 1GHz processor inside, and 512MB of RAM.

Furthermore, the HTC Desire 200 is expected to land on shelves with 4GB of internal memory, a 5-megapixel photo snapper on the back, and a 1400mAh battery inside, yet no specific info on its release date or pricing has been provided as of now.
