HTC’s latest high-end Android smartphone, the Butterfly S is about to make its debut in India. Although the handset has yet to be officially introduced in the country, several major retailers have already listed the phone and put a price tag to it.

As AndroidOS points out, Infibeam and Saholic are among the first authorized resellers that will allow customers to pre-order the HTC Butterfly S.

The smartphone can be purchased for prices between Rs 52,248 ($770/€585) and 54,990 ($815/€615) outright. The Butterfly S is expected to go on sale on September 9-13, but the information has yet to be confirmed by HTC.

HTC Butterfly S comes packed with a powerful 1.9 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor, which is complemented by an Adreno 330 GPU and 2GB of RAM.

The phone boasts a large 5-inch Super LCD3 capacitive touchscreen display that supports full HD (1080p) video recording and features Corning Gorilla Glass 3 coating, as well as a 4-UltraPixel rear-facing camera.
