The smartphone is available at 4,388 yuan ($705 / €535)

Following its official unveiling in the fourth quarter of the last year, the HTC Butterfly high-end device is now available for purchase in China.

The handset is up for sale now with a price tag of 4,388 yuan ($705 / €535) attached to it, and is said to feature support for GSM and WCDMA networks in the country.

Featuring model number X920e, HTC Butterfly arrived in China with a 5-inch 1080p Full HD display and with a 1.5GHz Snapdragon S4 pro CPU packed inside, paired with 2GB of RAM.

The smartphone also features 16GB of internal memory, an 8-megapixel photo snapper on the back, and a front camera for making video calls while on the go.

Running under Google’s Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system, the smartphone also features HTC’s Sense 4+ UI loaded on top. It is expected to arrive in other markets around the world as well soon.
