The smartphone runs under the Android 4.2 Jelly Bean platform

Today, HP has officially announced the upcoming availability of its HP Slate 6 VoiceTab smartphone in India, with a price tag of Rs 22,990 ($369/€271) attached to it.

The handset is one of the largest to have been released with the Android operating system loaded on top, due to its 6-inch touchscreen display capable of delivering a 720p resolution.

The handset is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Marvell PXA1088 processor, with 1GB of RAM attached to it, and with 16GB of internal memory, as BGR.in notes.

Moreover, the new device sports a 5-megapixel camera on the back, along with a 2MP front camera, front-facing stereo speakers, a 3000mAh battery, and microSD memory card slot for storage expansion.

HP Slate 6 VoiceTab also comes with 3G connectivity, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and dual-SIM capabilities packed inside. It runs under the Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system.
