More details for several countries and house numbers have been added as well

HERE Maps developers have silently released an update for their Windows Phone application, which is now slowly rolled out worldwide.

According to WPCentral, the update is now available for the offline maps on Windows Phone 8 devices and should be accessible on Nokia Lumia smartphones and other models powered by Microsoft’s mobile platform.

Although developers have not released an official changelog yet, HERE’s Pino Bonetti hasoffered WPCentral a list of changes that have been included in the last update. Here are the main highlights of this update:

- Hindi support for Maps in India; - More detail for Algeria, Benin, Georgia, Guinea, Mali, Nicaragua, Niger, Saint Helena and Togo; - House Numbers in Australia, New Zeland and seven European countries; - Extended woodland coverage in Europe.

The new versions of HERE Maps and Maps should already be available for download, so check for them by going to Settings / Applications / Maps / Check for updates.
