14 DAY TRIAL // GroupMe, the popular chat application for Android devices has just received a major update that brings lots a new features and visual improvements.
First of all, the application has been completely overhauled and features a new design. Check out below some of the changes included in this update:
- Chats are front, center and easy to read; - Big, beautiful photos in chats; - Share locations with a small map; - Fast switching between chats in the left drawer; - Huge avatars for your group in the right drawer; - Tap avatars anywhere to send a direct message.
Developers have also added support for tablets and have improved the application’s performance on all compatible devices. With the latest version of GroupMe, users will be able to start a group much faster, as well as share their group with a simple URL.
GroupMe 4.0 is now available as a free download via Google Play Store and it should be fully compatible with all devices running Android 2.2 and up. Check it out here.
