The Android Google+ application has just received a new update that widens the software’s availability and brings new features into the mix.

Given the fact that previous versions of Google+ did not work well on Android tablets, developers have decided to add support for larger devices in order to improve the visual experience of the application.

Aside from tablet support, the latest iteration of Google+ introduces a new feature, called Events with Party Mode, which allows users to automatically share photos.

An improved circle management has been added as well, along with several bug fixes that have yet to be detailed. Last but not least, the application received a visual refresh and improved navigation features.

Google+ is now available as a free download via Google Play store and it should be fully compatible with all devices running Android 2.0 and up.
