This has been a busy week for Google as the company updated several of its Android applications, such a Google Currents, Google Goggles, Google Play Store and Google Maps Street View.

Today, the search giant announces it has delivered a new update for the popular Google+ application for Android devices.

Just like the desktop version, Google+ for Android allows users to share and keep in touch with their friends while on the move.

Although this is just a minor update, it brings support for hashtags in the stream and improved sharing support for third-party apps.

Last but not least, some bug fixes and performance improvements have been added as well, though the developer hasn’t revealed any details on these.

Google+ is now available as a free download via Google Play store, and it should be supported by all devices running Android platform. However, version and compatibility might vary depending on the device.
