The application now offers support for strikethrough formatting

A new flavor of the Google+ application is now available for download for the owners of devices running under Google’s Android operating system, namely version 3.6.1.44747389, with various enhancements and fixes packed inside.

The main change in the new app release is the option to set bigger cover photos, which will now sport a better aspect ratio, the release notes unveil.

Furthermore, the app now offers support for strikethrough formatting, and also delivers a series of bug fixes and performance improvements.

Google+ for Android is Google’s mobile client for its own social network, and has been designed to connect users with their contacts, while also enabling them to instantly upload photos, video chat, view Nearby stream, see trending topics in the What’s Hot stream, and more.
