A new flavor of the Google Wallet application is now available for download, providing users with the possibility to enjoy Tap & Pay capabilities on more devices running under KitKat that also pack NFC connectivity.

As AndroidPolice notes, the feature was available only for the owners of Nexius 5 smartphones before this update. However, Google Wallet now delivers the functionality to Moto X and Nexus 7 devices as well.

Furthermore, it appears that Google has decided to provide users with unofficial KitKat ROMs installed on their devices with the possibility to enjoy the new Tap & Pay feature.

Some other enhancements have been made to the application in the new release as well, such as the addition of awareness of the physical Wallet card. Chances are that Google will add some other enhancements to the app as well in the not too distant future.

You can download Google Wallet for Android from Softpedia today to enjoy the latest features inside it.
