Since its launch in 2009, Google Voice application has been constantly improved by Google with lots of new features and overall performance improvements.

Today, the search giant is back with yet another update for Google Voice, the software that allows users to make cheap international calls via a Google number.

The latest update brings more features to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich platform, as well as the possibility to play voicemails directly from within the call log.

Users will be able to slow down the playback of the message or speed it it up. Keep in mind that this new feature is only available on Android 4.0 devices.

Google Voice 0.4.2.54 is now available as a free download in the Google Play store and it should be fully compatible with all devices running Android 1.6 and up.
