Are you a techie but also have a soft spot for classical music? Then you’ll probably love this video we’re about to share with you.

Google Japan has just posted a video showing an Android orchestra made up of 300 phones and tablets that sync together to play Beethoven’s “Ode to Joy” sonata.

Each of the devices featured in this crazy setup has an Androidify character loaded on top which plays the same song via the gizmo’s speakers.

The virtual orchestra’s stage name is “Android Chorus,” and if you think that the outcome is mighty fantastic, we have another surprise for you.

You have the chance of seeing the Android Chorus perform live from February 12 to February 15 at Omotesando Hills in Tokyo.

What’s more, you are invited to trying out your talent as conductor, with a gesture sensor conveying your hand movements to the Google batch of music-savvy devices. Which wins you an Android T-shirt to applaud your effort and dedication.

So if you’re in Japan, you would better go grab a ticket while they last. This is certainly something you need to see. The performance lasts all through the Valentine’s Day weekend, which is Google’s say of letting you know that you’re special.
