The new tools are meant to resolve blocking issues in the previous release

Last week, Google made official the new Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system flavor and also released a new set of developer tools for those who want to build applications for the platform, all of which have been updated again.

Apparently, there have been a series of issues with the last week's version of the tools, and the newly updated ones should fix them all. However, no specific info on what was modified emerged for the time being.

“Android SDK Tools r15 and ADT 15 fix a lot of blocking issues. go get them,” a recent tweet explains.

Google has included a range of new APIs with the new Android SDK, and offered developers the possibility to tap into new capabilities of devices, and chances are that the issues were related to some of these newly enabled features.
