After a few updates for the beta version of Chrome for Android, Google released a new stable version of the mobile browser.

The latest update brings important changes such as the password and autofill sync, as well as some stability improvements.

With the latest version of Google Chrome, users will be able to access saved desktop passwords and autofill entries from their Android device.

Keep in mind that this iteration of Chrome requests two new permissions, Camera and Modify Audio Settings, in order to supports WebRTC, which is “an experimental feature under development.” Last but not least, this update addresses an issue with blank page loads in some scenarios.

Chrome 26.0.1410.58 is now available as a free download via Google Play Store and it should be fully compatible with all devices running Android 4.0 and up. Check it out here.
