Mountain View-based Internet giant Google has made yet another enhancement to its Google Search app on Android devices, which will now link users to in-app content if relevant, regardless of their location.

The feature was launched in the United States several months ago, but it seems that the company is ready to roll it out worldwide.

Google has already started working with application developers out there to have app content indexed and linked to websites.

At the same time, the giant is encouraging developers to add deep link support for their applications. Moreover, it says that app deep links can be added too.

“Google is working with app developers and webmasters to index the content of apps and relate them to websites. When relevant, Google Search results on Android will include deep links to apps,” the company notes on its developer portal.

At the moment, there are 36 Android apps that support this feature, but more of them are expected to be added moving forth. According to AndroidOS, 24 of these apps have been added today.

These apps are: 500px, AOL, BigOven, Bleacher Report, Booking.com, Eventbrite, Glassdoor, Goodreads, Huffington Post, Merriam-Webster, Pinterest, Realtor.com, Seeking Alpha, TalkAndroid, TheFreeDictionary, The Journal, TripAdvisor, Tumblr, Urbanspoon, Wattpad, YP, Zagat, Zappos and Zillow.
