Google has made available for download a new flavor of the Google Play Books application for the owners of Android-based devices, namely version 3.1.31, with an appealing enhancement packed inside.

Following the update to the new app release, users will see that they can once again upload PDF or EPUB files to their library. For that, they will need to enable PDF support in Settings, then simply click on a file in email or Downloads and select Upload to Play Books.

The feature was available in the application a while ago, but Google decided to remove it fast via a subsequent update. Things are back to normal now.

The new app iteration also comes with the Settings and Help buttons moved to the main navigation menu, as well as with a series of performance improvements and bug fixes, such as a fix to prevent the screen from sleeping while the app is reading aloud.

You can download Google Play Books 3.1.31 for Android from Softpedia today.
