Unveiled yesterday, LG Nexus 5 was up for sale on Google Play Store in select markets, but it was sold out in a matter of minutes.

It’s still available in some countries, but customers in the UK now have the chance to grab the phone for a low price if they’re willing to commit to a new contract. UK-based carrier Three now offers the Nexus 5 for £49 ($78/€58) upfront on select 24-month contracts.

Customers can select The One Plan for £35 ($56/€41) a month with the purchase, or the Ultimate Internet 1000 plan for £32 ($51/€37) a month. The cheapest of contracts one can choose is the Ultimate Internet 500 for £29 ($47/€34) a month.

However, those who do not wish to commit to a long-term contract can buy the Google Nexus 5 (16GB) for no less than £400 ($640/€475) on PAYG (pay as you go).
