The Android version of Google’s popular Chrome browser has been updated to version 18.0.1025308 and is now available for download for all devices powered by Android 4.0 or newer.

The new flavor of the application comes with a series of security fixes packed inside, as well as with some stability improvements, Google announced.

In the new app iteration, location preferences have been integrated to system level Google apps location setting, while third-party IMEs are expected to work better with Chrome, courtesy of various fixes.

Following the update, YouTube videos controls will work in full screen mode as well. Moreover, videos continue playing after a screen lock/unlock, the release notes unveiled.
