Google has just updated its calendar application for Android devices. Although this is just a minor update, it brings an important improvement: better battery usage.

Aside from that, there’s nothing included in this update, or at least that’s the only thing confirmed by Google in the application’s changelog.

Google Calendar still has some known issues with HTC devices, which, hopefully, will be addressed in future updates. Some of the problems are detailed below:

- Day and week views may not work on some HTC devices; - Local unsynced events may be lost after installing Google Calendar; - Notifications won't make sounds unless HTC's Calendar app is disabled.

Google Calendar 201210220 is now available as a free download via Google Play store and it should be fully compatible with all devices running Android 4.0.3 and up. Check it out here.
