Glympse for Android enables users an easy way to share their locations with their friends in real time. The application does not require sign-up or any other social network to manage.

Developed by Glympse, the latest version has been built upon Android's Holo experience. A range of new features, fixes and improvements have been included in the latest update as well.

A new group filtering option that shows all users within a single group is now included in the latest version of Glympse. In addition, devs added long-press context menu to favorites to allow editing.

The latest update also brings battery improvements and lots of other features and stability enhancements, which have yet to be detailed by the developer.

Last but not least, the update fixes an issue where favorite names could get corrupted and a bug where name and picture of the user could get lost.

Glympse 2.03 is now available as a free download via Google Play store and it should be fully compatible with all devices running Android 1.6 and up. Check it out here.
