Roughly two weeks ago, Taiwanese mobile phone maker HTC Corporation unveiled to the world a new Android-based flagship handset in the form of HTC One M8, which has already landed at wireless carriers out there, and which is now said to arrive in a new color version at Verizon.

The mobile phone operator was among the first to release the device and was also the only one to sell it in-store for the first two weeks of availability.

According to a recent tweet from @evleaks, Verizon is also planning on releasing a Glamour Red flavor of the HTC One M8, though no further details on the matter have been provided as of now.

HTC launched a Red version of HTC One last year, and it does not come as a surprise that it plans on making a similar move with this year flagship as well, that’s for sure.

While details on availability and pricing remain a mystery for the time being, we expect the new handset variant to cost the same as the already released versions.

It should include the same hardware specifications as well, though it remains to be seen whether HTC will decide to include some other software enhancements in it, so as to differentiate it a bit more from the initial variants.
