The handset packs a 5-inch full HD screen, 1.5GHz quad-core processor

Today, Gionee has made its Elife E6 smartphone official in India, with a price tag of Rs. 22,999 ($373 / €274) attached to it.

The mobile phone arrives on the market with a 5-inch full HD touchscreen display and with a 1.5 GHz quad-core Mediatek MT6589T processor packed inside.

The specifications list of the new device includes 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal memory, as well as a 2000 mAh battery. It packs 3G connectivity, along with WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, and a built-in GPS receiver.

Furthermore, it features a 13-megapixel camera on the back with BSI sensor, LED flash and f2.2 wide angle lens, along with a 5-megapixel front camera, great for making video calls while on the go.

Running under Google’s Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system, the smartphone also features Gionee’s own Amigo interface loaded on top, as fonearena notes.
