Galaxy Tab 3 8.0, one of the latest tablet PCs that South Korean mobile phone maker Samsung has included in its popular Galaxy Tab series, has received approvals from the FCC earlier this week, though with support for LTE networks outside the US.

As Engadget notes, although the device packs support for AT&T’s HSPA network, it hasn't been optimized for use in the United States, and the LTE connectivity packed inside it is meant for South Korea.

Featuring model number SM-T315, the Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 was spotted at the FCC with built-in cellular access as well.

Users in the US can already take advantage of the features of another 8-inch tablet from Samsung, namely the Galaxy Note 8.0, which is available for purchase in the country on the network of AT&T, also with LTE connectivity packed inside.
