South Korean mobile phone maker Samsung Electronics is getting ready for the launch of a new Galaxy S4 model, one that will land on shelves with support for LTE-Advanced connectivity, and which might hit shelves before the end of this month.

The handset should arrive on shelves with the same specs as the Galaxy S4, except for the faster connectivity capabilities, a recent article on Reuters notes.

Apparently, JK Shin, the co-CEO of Samsung Electronics, has already confirmed the upcoming availability of the new mobile phone, suggesting that wireless carriers in South Korea could launch it before the end of June.

The new flavor of the mobile phone will arrive on shelves with a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor packed inside, and should provide users with data transfer speeds of up to two times faster than those delivered by the current 4G LTE variant.
