Australian mobile phone carrier Vodafone is getting ready for the release of the Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean software update for its Samsung Galaxy S III users as soon as Monday, November 26, 2012.

The wireless operator has already confirmed plans to make the move, yet it did not offer further info on the software roll-out.

Galaxy S III is one of the first smartphones on Vodafone’s network to receive the Android 4.1.1 update, yet other devices will also get a taste of it soon.

Among these, we can count the GALAXY Nexus, Samsung GALAXY S II, GALAXY Note, GALAXY Tab 2 10.1 and the HTC One X.

With Jelly Bean arriving on Galaxy S III devices around the world, it should not be too long before other carriers in Australia start pushing it to users as well, so stay tuned.
