Users in the UK interested in the purchase of a Samsung Galaxy S III mini smartphone can now grab the device for free through The Carphone Warehouse, as long as they also buy a Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 tablet PC.

The online retailer has made the two available for £0 upfront on monthly plans that start at £22 per month at O2, though users can choose contracts with other wireless carriers as well.

As UnwiredView notes, Galaxy S III Mini was made available in November last year with a 4-inch WVGA Super AMOLED screen, 1GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal memory, 5-megapixel photo snapper on the back, and Google’s Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean platform loaded on top.

The handset should soon be replaced by a Galaxy S4 Mini model, though Samsung has yet to announce specifics on this device.
