Galaxy Note III

, the upcoming large smartphone from Samsung Electronics, should make it to the United States on the network of wireless carrier Verizon, and some benchmarking results for it are now available.

The mobile phone is almost confirmed to land on shelves at the carrier with a Snapdragon 800 processor packed inside, one that should be clocked in at 2.3GHz.

Galaxy Note III emerged in AnTuTu with Google’s Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean operating system loaded on top, and with model number SM-N900V attached, where “V” reportedly stands for Verizon, as Techkiddy reports.

Previous rumors suggested that the handset would be released in other flavors as well, including one that would pack a Samsung Exynos 5420 processor.

Rumor has it that Samsung will make the high-end smartphone official in September at the IFA 2013 show in Berlin, but no official confirmation on the matter has emerged until now.
