The software update will be released in stages over the next several days

Starting today, owners of a Samsung Galaxy Note II smartphone on the network of wireless carrier Sprint will be able to download and install the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean operating system update.

Today, the operator has posted info on the update on its support website, unveiling that the deployment will be performed in stages, and that some users will have to wait for several days to receive it.

In addition to the Android 4.3 OS upgrade, the new software release will also provide users with a taste of Samsung KNOX secure environment compatibility.

Furthermore, the update will bring support for Galaxy Gear to the device, while also packing a series of HD Voice enhancements inside.

As soon as the update is available for their Galaxy Note II devices, users will receive a notification on the matter. They will be able to download and install the new software following the onscreen instructions.
