Google is said to prepare for the launch of the next Nexus device and the search giant has already confirmed a press even for next month.

However, the Nexus 5 doesn’t seem to be the only smartphone that Google plans to introduce this year, at least according to Pocket-Lint.

The cited source claims that it has received a tip from an insider that UK-based retailer Carphone Warehouse will sell a mysterious Samsung Nexus S smartphone at some point.

The unannounced Nexus S has just popped up in Carphone Warehouse systems and doesn’t look to be a mistake from the retailer’s part.

Unfortunately, no other details are available for the moment, so we must assume this is one of the Nexus devices that Google plans to build with various handset makers, other than LG. Stay tuned for more on this.
